The reason it exists.

Forty minutes. Every corner covered.
One question walking off court.

Every serious player knows the feeling. You finish forty minutes of solo ghosting — lungs burning, every position covered, the work genuinely done. And walking off court, a quiet question follows you: was any of that actually making me better? Varish and Darshika Gahlot spent years asking that question on courts they had entirely to themselves, before dawn. Squash GhostingX is the answer they built — and decided to give away for free.

The Beginning

Was any of that actually
making me better?

Solo squash training has a problem nobody talks about: you can be disciplined, consistent, and genuinely hard-working — and still have no honest picture of whether any of it is moving your game forward. Ghosting drills get done. Positions get covered. Sweat gets produced. But without feedback, without data, there is no way to separate effort from progress. The drill that felt sharp on Tuesday might be reinforcing the same weak pattern it always has. You simply have no way to know.

That was Varish’s world for years. On court at 6am, before the club opened, running ghost patterns with the kind of focus most players never find. The commitment was never in question. What was missing was any way to know whether it was working — which zones were weak, where pace was fading, whether this session’s movement quality was actually sharper than last month’s. At the professional level, coaches, video analysts, and movement data answer exactly these questions. For the rest of the squash world, you train on instinct and hope.

"I wanted the data that professional coaches have — position coverage, pace consistency, zone balance — in a format I could use alone, at 6am, on any court in the world. That tool didn't exist. So we built it."

— Varish Gahlot, Co-Founder & CEO

Together with Darshika, Varish designed Squash GhostingX from the court up — not as a fitness timer with a squash label, but as a genuine training intelligence system built around how ghosting actually works: structured position sequencing, progressive pace overload, zone-weighted sessions, and session-over-session analytics that show the truth about your own movement over time.

When the app launched in 2025, the decision to make it completely free was never a marketing strategy. It was the whole point. Elite training tools have always been gated by money, access, and geography. Squash GhostingX removes all three barriers — for every player, at every level, on every court in the world.

Vision & Mission

Elite training data for every player.
Not just the few.

Ghosting is the foundation of squash fitness. Every elite player does it. Most club players know they should do more of it. The gap between knowing and actually doing — structured, measurable, progressive ghosting — is exactly where Squash GhostingX lives.

Our goal is straightforward: every squash player, regardless of budget or access to a coach, should have the tools to train intelligently. An AI voice that calls positions. Analytics that surface weak zones over time. Programs built on movement science. A session history that gives honest data about your own development — not vague impressions.

The best training tools shouldn't come with a price tag.
Squash GhostingX is free forever.

Every court system. Every programme. AI voice in every language. Unlimited history. Full analytics. No trial, no subscription, no ads — for every player, at every level, forever. That's the founding commitment and it isn't changing.

The Founders

Two players who still
train with their own app.

Squash GhostingX wasn't designed in a boardroom or an accelerator. It was designed on court, by two players who still train with the app and who built each feature because they personally felt the gap it fills.

Varish Gahlot, Co-Founder and CEO of Squash GhostingX
Varish Gahlot
Co-Founder & CEO

Varish leads product vision and technology. His obsession with movement efficiency and data-driven training shaped every feature — from the AI voice engine and pace system to the analytics architecture that tracks your improvement session by session.

Co-Founder & COO

Darshika drives growth and community strategy. Her commitment to making elite-level training accessible to all players is the reason the app is free — and why it always will be. She ensures the product remains focused on real players with real court time, not just data enthusiasts.

What We Stand For

The four principles we
won't compromise on.

🎾
Court-First Thinking

Every feature is designed around what actually happens during a solo session — not what looks good in a product demo. If it doesn't make your training better on court, it doesn't ship.

📊
Honest Data

Your analytics show what's real: which zones you avoid, where your pace drops, how your consistency shifts over weeks. We don't smooth the numbers to make you feel better. You improve faster when you see the truth.

🔓
Free, Always

Not free as a trial. Not free for basic features with a paywall on the rest. Free: every court system, every programme, full analytics, unlimited history. No conditions, no expiry, no exceptions.

📴
Offline by Design

Courts rarely have good Wi-Fi. The app runs entirely on your device — no server check-ins, no loading screens, no connectivity requirement. Open the app, set your session, and go.
