Squash GhostingX ("the app", "we", "us", "our") is a squash ghosting training application developed by Varish Gahlot and Darshika Gahlot ("Developers").

What Data We Collect

Data You Provide

When you create an account or use the app, you may provide:

• Email address — used only as a login identifier, stored locally on your device
• Password — stored locally on your device in the encrypted system keychain; never transmitted to any server
• Name — optional display name for your profile
• Date of birth — used to calculate your age for profile display only
• Gender — used for profile personalisation only
• Profile photo — optional photo selected from your device gallery, stored locally

Data Generated Automatically

• Training session data — drill type, duration, repetition counts, intensity scores, completion percentages
• Progress statistics — streaks, personal bests, weekly activity, court balance analysis
• App settings — difficulty, voice preferences, language, display settings

How We Use Your Data

All data listed above is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage (SQLite database and encrypted device keychain). It is not transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.

We use your data solely to:

• Provide the training session features
• Display your progress, analytics, and achievements
• Personalise your coaching voice and language
• Remember your settings between sessions

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any personal data to third parties. Your training data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

YouTube Thumbnail Images

The app displays video thumbnail images loaded from YouTube's public image servers (img.youtube.com). When these images load, your device's IP address is sent to YouTube's servers as part of a standard HTTP request — the same as visiting any webpage. We do not control YouTube's data practices. Expo / React Native

The app is built using Expo (by Expo Inc.) and React Native (by Meta Platforms). These frameworks may collect crash and diagnostic data under their own privacy policies. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device until you:

• Tap Reset Progress History (Settings → App) — deletes all session records
• Tap Reset All Settings (Settings → App) — deletes all profile and setting data
• Uninstall the app — removes all app data from your device

Children's Privacy

Squash GhostingX is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data through the app, please contact us at squash.ghostingx@gmail.com and we will assist you.

Security

Account credentials (email and password) are stored in your device's secure keychain — iOS Keychain on Apple devices and Android Keystore on Android devices — using industry-standard encrypted storage. The app does not transmit credentials to any server.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

• Access: View your data within the app (Progress, Profile, Settings screens)
• Correction: Edit your profile and settings at any time
• Deletion: Use the Reset options in Settings to delete all data
• Portability: All data is on your device — no server-side export exists

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the version date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
