Everything you need to train effectively — court systems, positions, session settings, voice coaching, and understanding your progress.
Squash GhostingX coaches you through squash ghosting drills using real-time voice calls and court visuals. No opponent needed — just a squash court or any open space.
Squash GhostingX supports two court coverage systems. Both follow the same rules — stand at T, sprint to the called position, return — but they differ in the number of zones.
All positions are defined relative to a right-handed player facing the front wall. If you are left-handed, the app automatically mirrors every call so your forehand side is always called correctly.
The T marker is your home base — always return to the T-junction after every position.
10-Point adds Front-Mid and Back-Mid zones, increasing total distances run per session.
Controls how fast position calls fire and how many reps are in each set. Higher difficulty = shorter interval between calls.
| Level | Interval | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | ~12 s | Learning the movement pattern |
| Intermediate | ~10 s | Regular club player |
| Advanced | ~8 s | Competitive club / regional |
| Elite | ~6.5 s | Tournament level |
| Pro | ~5.2 s | Maximum physical demand |
Adds extra rest at T between each position call. Use Recovery or Measured while building fitness; switch to Brisk when match-fit.
Session length in minutes. Auto rest breaks are inserted between sets — actual moving time is typically 60–70% of the duration.
Choose between Wooden Court (warm hardwood with red lines) and Glass Court (dark premium stadium theme) for the in-session court visuals.
Use the +/− buttons on the session screen to speed up or slow down on the fly — 7 steps from Recovery (+3 s) to Turbo (−3 s). Your selection resets at the start of the next session.
After completing a set, an automatic rest break fires. Duration scales inversely with difficulty — harder levels take shorter breaks to simulate match-intensity. A countdown plays before the next set begins.
Mid-movement, the app may call a shot type ("Drive!", "Boast!", "Drop!"). This trains match decision-making alongside footwork. Shot calls can be customised or disabled in the drill configuration.
Your Intensity Score (0–100) reflects overall session quality, calculated from difficulty, tempo, and how much of the session you completed.
